Description

Be Holding His  Glory.

In this painting the woman is entering the Holy of Holies through the torn veil and beholding God`s Glory, Presence and experiencing His awesome love.

Why have I used gold leaf. ?

When Solomon had the temple built he had the walls of the Holy of Holies inlaid with pure gold. ( 1 Kings 6:20)  When we seek Him with all our hearts we also will behold Him in the even more glorious Heavenlies, because our Father God loves us and longs for a deep relationship with us,  His children.

My painting symbolises our free access into our Father God`s presence when we seek Him with all our hearts.  This is only possible because  of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

At the moment of His death the temple curtain, which hid the Holy of Holies and symbolised our seperation from God due to sin….was torn in two from top to bottom, (Matthew 27:51) nolonger seperating us from our Father God . So once we have repented of our sins  we are free to enter His presence.

About the Painting Itself.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this painting and wanted a frame that would show it off at its best , so the painting has first been mounted with a linen effect mount, then covered with “Art Glass,” this is a non-reflective glass. I have used this so you can appreciate the true colour & reflectiveness  of the gold leaf with out the annoyance of the reflections on the glass. Then it has been framed in a lovely warm coloured  wood frame with an inner gold line detail to balence with the painting.

The picture has been strung at the back so is ready to hang after unwrapping. Postage and packing is free  with this painting within the UK, please get in touch for a postal quote if the live outside the UK.

Please  dont hesitate to  email me if you have any questions concerning this painting and I will do my best to answer them.
